Ariel Houchens

Ariel Views Photo was established, in 2005, in North Carolina by Ariel Houchens while her husband was stationed with the Army at Fort Bragg. During her time in North Carolina, Ariel had the opportunity to photograph many military servicemen and women and their families. She captured the joyful military homecomings, the family portraits prior to lengthy deployments, the children while daddy or mommy was away and the engagements and weddings during all the in-between times.

In 2008, the Houchens family relocated to their home-state of Ohio. Ariel currently lives in Athens and works closely with brides, families, models and designers from all over the nation.

Ariel Views Photo's name was conceived while Ariel was completing her journalism degree. While viewing Ariel's photos, a professor commented that she should specialize in photography and call her business Ariel Views. After receiving her degree, Ariel decided she would rather use less words and tell her stories with pictures. Her photography business was born and appropriately named, Ariel Views Photo.
